Rain city bee

If you’re going to call yourself a street artist, you better do some street art! After a few months of commission work, qubek was in need of some much needed stress relief. So in the last months of 2023, he embarked on a two week campaign to do as much free, public art as possible. This piece was the first of three pieces encompassing each in a circular shape, making the viewer focus even more on the image inside.
This was painted in Salford, near the Salford museum, half way through painting the rain started to pour down. A factor in street art that you can’t control. You will notice the rain has run through the paint in this image but we love the genuine nature of the image due to this and feel it’s important to show street art in its rawest forms in print too.
